A little over a year ago my wife Allison and I purchased a home in Orchard Lake.

We called Rick from Gramophone Home Theater and asked him to walk through our new home with us. We discussed a number of options and Rick created a proposal that included everything that we had agreed upon down to the smallest detail.

We wanted Rick to install a new 65in. TV and speakers over a tiled fireplace and in-ceiling surround speakers in a completely redecorated and dry walled great room. The equipment would be housed in the lower level office. We, also, wanted Rick’s team to hang a movie projector and install a large motorized movie screen in the finished and dry walled ceiling in our lower level family room. The surround speakers would all be housed in the ceiling as well.

Rick installed motorized blackout shading to block the sunlight and a lighting system that we controlled with our smart phones. Then, they installed a music system in several rooms including on our outdoor patio. Along the way, the Gramophone team installed recessed lighting and repaired and repainted several rooms in our home.
Their technician, Cliff, spent the time teaching Allison and I how to use our new equipment and easily access our favorite programming. We could not be happier or more satisfied. What a great experience!

While price is always a consideration when making a large purchase, and you were very competitive, I was more concerned with the service that you provided. I would still be trying to hook up my new equipment if you had not provided a technician to set everything up. I made my first purchase from Rick Howard at The Gramophone in 1977. Over the last 40 years I’ve purchased a number of audio and video systems from him and his staff including a full blown dedicated home theater.

I love my gear and I use it everyday and if I have a problem I never feel awkward asking Rick or his staff to help me. Even my wife likes having them in the house because they are friendly and careful and always take great care to clean up their work area before they leave.
